Summer 2004 I recorded my first 70 minutes solo pianoconcert (at the LUX-concerthall in the Netherlands).
The kind of music is in some way a mix of the Concierto de Arranjuez, the Moonshine Serenade, Philip Glass and
Eric Satie.It is full of harmonic and melodic structures.
I worked 4 years to bring all the pieces together.
March 2006 the music is available.

my fingers and muscles still enable me to play the piano.
But sometimes it is painfull all ready.
An Orphan drug (Myozyme) has been developed to stop the further deterioration of the illness, however,for me this drug still out of reach.
How it will unfold for me is anyone´s guess,
but I hope that this music will reverberate in places where people will and can hear it for a long time to come.
This is my way, my proud, my power and my answer to face and accept the present situation. (johan, dec 2005)

His style is somewhere between new age and classic.
This album has a strong melancholic atmosphere
Johan's second solo album 'Whisperkiss' contents 18 piano solo's.
This album is more melodic.
Maybe Johan's music sounds like David Lanz, George Winston or Erik Satie.
Just listen and you will hear Johan has his own style.
As an self taught musician,
not able to read sheet music,
there is no other way for Johan then finding his own way,
to compose and improvise for solo piano.
