Duncton
Wood
She
stood there thinking of him and it seemed like she was
looking right into his heart. He couldn't remember any
other mole ever looking at him that way, curiously,
compassionately, friendly. Suddenly she came forward
and touched him with her paw, or rather stroked his
shoulder. It didn't last more than a single second,
but he would remember it for the rest of his life...
The
history of Bracken and Rebecca, born in the Holy Burrows
of Duncton, of their love and their struggle. Based
on the testimony of Spindle, the mole of Uffington,

their prosperity, their doubts, their misery and their
happiness..
It
all happened deep down there. Under the great Stone.
Amongst the oaks and beeches of the Duncton Wood...

Duncton
Found
The
ruthless war waged against the Stone has almost been
won by the disciples of the Word - only wild Siabod
and mysterious Beechenhill still hold out, and everywhere
the followers of the Stone go in peril of their lives.
Yet
in the shadows of Duncton Wood a new light is shining.
For the Stone Mole has come, to revive the moles' faith
in themselves and in the ancient power of the Stone
to defeat and deny the evil Word. But it is a task that

had to face...
