Hi You Curious Visitor,

During the last months of 2000 someone suggested to me 'why don't you start a Web Site?'
At the time it seemed a great idea, and I started very enthusiastically, not knowing how much time & effort it was going to take... with all the beginners problems and a lot of other sh*t I ran into...
But (and let this be a warning to you!) once you start with a project like this, it soon becomes pretty addictive... and you have to keep on working on it, updating it, restyling it, expanding it...
Where will it stop? Will I ever be satisfied?

I guess it's obvious that Shades is not (completely) a real person, she represents a part of me... but it's an important part.
Not many people know who the person behind Shades is, and actually that serves me fine... so if you don't mind, I'd like to keep it that way.
The things I could tell you are: I'm female & I live in the Netherlands (Europe).
But... If you want to find out a bit more about the mysterious girl, I think this Site gives you a pretty good idea about me and the things that interest me...
