Welcome to Do's fansite. Do is Dominique van Hulst, a twenty-one year old Dutch singer from Valkenswaard in the south of the Netherlands. With Heaven she had together with DJ Sammy and Yanou a big international hit.

Dominique van Hulst (1981) is a member of the Dutch Van Hulst tennis family from Valkenswaard near Eindhoven in the south of the Netherlands. She was meant to be a tennis player herself, but when she was 15, she decided to choose for a career as a singer.

After her first gig a record company immediately offered her a record deal. She had a first minor hit with the song Real Good and she was the support act for "Five" and "Montell Jordan" in a sold out Ahoy in Rotterdam. After that she developed herself for a year. She did some commercial jobs and she was background singer with some well-known national and international artists. One of them was Tony Hadley, former lead singer of Spandau Ballet.

Then she met the producer Yanou and with him she made the next big move in her solo career. In the spring of 2002 they recorded with the famous German DJ Sammy an exceptional dance version of the rock ballad Heaven of Bryan Adams. The original song was a number one of the Billboard 100 in 1984. Heaven by Do (Dominique’s name as an artist), DJ Sammy and Yanou reached almost the same heights in the States. In the autumn of 2002 it peaked at four in the Billboard 100. In Great-Brittan they made it completely. In October 2002 Heaven charted at number one in the UK! In the Netherlands and Germany it was a top ten hit and in Australia even top three. The song turned to be a real dance classic and was for months the most popular hit on many dance floors across the world. It’s successor On and On also was a big dance hit.

Do continued her success by bringing out two ballad versions of Heaven. One of them being the so called candle light version. Early 2003 she hit with both versions and at the same time the Dutch top ten! With these ballads and with her live-appearances Do proved to be a singer not only with gorgeous looks, but also with a gorgeous voice.

April 19. 2003 Do was awarded best new Dutch singer at the TMF-awards (TMF is a very popular music station in the Netherlands). She also made a great appearance with Westlife at this event. Westlife was impressed and invited Do to be their support act at their appearance in Ahoy, Rotterdam at the first of May 2003.

Do is now working with Yanou on a new album that will come out this year. It is very likely that Do will make it big with this album. She has the looks and qualities to be a real star.
