Till recently this garden could be visited during the first three weekends of June. Unfortunately this is not possible anymore. The Mheer castle is situtated in the small village of Mheer in a very picturesque part of Southern Limburg. It belongs since 1371 to the same family De Loe.We visited the garden 2 years ago and were impressed by the total vue of the castle,garden and environment.The present garden is the creative work of Ghislaine de Loe. Characteristic in the architecture of the garden are the round lines,which can be found everywhere in this garden.In the perennial borders are flowering many plants in yellow and white colours.We will hope,that this nice garden soon will be reopened for the public to visit.
