Samantha Jones website!

If you are a Sex And The City fan and ended

up here than you are in the wrong place,

this site is not dedicated to Kim Cattrall's

character, but the singer Samantha Jones.

Samantha started her career in the early 60s

as a member of the popular vocal group The

Vernons Girls and went on to record numerous

singles and LPs as a solo artist.

Recently RPM has released two excellent CDs

compiling her recordings for United Artists and

the Penny Farthing label in the 60s and 70s.

Samantha never troubled the UK charts much,

she scored her biggest hit with a cover version

of "My Way" (1970). That song became a top

hit in several european countries.

Her1967single "Surrounded By A Ray Of

Sunshine" is now considered a northern soul

classic and (arguably) her most famous song.
