Just to the west of Benton Lake NWR is Freezeout Lake Wildlife Management Area near Fairfield. The riding position used to be a bit hard on the hands around town where you had to brake a lot, but once you ride over 100 kph the wind quickly pushes your body back so there is no weight on the hands and wrists. Silver salmon glides by their backs.
