Download TextShield!
To run
TextShield Fusion properly, you will need to have Windows 95/98/Me/Xp/2000/NT 4
or above. TextShield has succesfully been tested on Windows 95 OSR2
and Windows 98 SE.

You
can choose a download location for TextShield Fusion
Setup here. Please choose the location
nearest to the place you live. (1.55 Mb) If this link does not
work, you can try this one.

Windows 95 and 98 require an update. Download it here and save it to c:\windows\system.
TextShield needs this update to render text on the screen. It is an
official Microsoft update, but Microsoft herself doesn't provide it at her
website. When you've downloaded it, execute the program and follow the
instructions on the screen. If you have got Office 2000 (Word 2000) or
higher installed
on your computer, you haven't got to download it.
-
You
can download spelling
dictionaries in your native language
here. An American dictionary is already included within
the program. You can also download a Dutch (Nederlands)
interface translation here.
-
If you don't have a recent
version of msls31.dll installed on your system, which can cause
problems when running TextShield, you can download it from here.
You can add it either to the TextShield directory or to C:\windows\system.
Enjoy using TextShield! (I did
when making it...)
The old TextShield 2000 is
still available here.
Interface
Plugins
You can download Interface
Plugins [here].
External Plugins
There is one plugin available for
now, more will come in the future. It is an application that inserts a
logo displaying your name in the current document. Distributed with source (C++
Builder).
(Note: you haven't got to install it from inside TextShield, just run the
.exe file).
