Feedback
from a satisfied user named Thomas: Thanks for making Textshield2000
- the most useful word processor I've yet downloaded. The fact
that it uses standard MDI and wraps text and RTF to the window frame
means that you take seriously the concept of 'multiple documents' - tabs
and wrap to rulers don't actually let you see, as well as work with,
more than one file at a time. The file list is a great idea; it let's me
see just where in my convoluted directory structure the files are coming
from. Also, unlike [other word processors], the buttons don't take up a
third of the screen space.

A
nice review
from Buzzy's Stall Wall of a very old version of
TextShield: "For a word processor of this size, it has quite an
amazing amount of features found in larger programs."

Feedback from
a happy
user named Virginia: "I just downloaded TextShield, used it for a while, and I cannot believe it! This is certainly the best processor ever for those of
us who will NEVER use Microsoft Word again. When I installed Windows98SE on a new disk, I swore I would not encumber it with Word. I then tried out three processors - one of which was fair, two of which I had to uninstall. I will now be using TextShield for everything -
Just wanted to thank you for sharing this software - I will certainly spread the good word far and wide!"

Feedback
from an user named Pauline: "I really like this
program. It is a no-nonsense processor with just enough for what is
needed without loads of buttons to confuse. Keep up the good work!"

Review
from a satisfied user named Grayson from Download.com: "One of
my favorite feature that visually-impaired and blind people should be
able to use is AutoPaste. What I did is I copy the news from the
Internet and choose copy. The Copy command copies all the highlighted
text to the clipboard and AutoPaste looks at the clipboard and then
paste the text to TextShield by itself! Wonderful program!!! And a 3D
Text is pretty cool! And you can do HTML in the editor, too, using the
Plain-Text mode, then save it as HTML (you choose HTML from the
File-type list)."

Another
review from an user from Download.com: "I was looking for an
easy-to-use word processor similar to MS Works, and I found one better.
This has many of the same features as MS Works, incl. graphics,
spellcheck, etc., and is easier to operate. I like the features, the
ease of use, and the fact that it's free. The only drawback is that you
need to download the update with it, and a certain dll file (if your
machine doesn't have it), but even those are readily available at the
TextShield site -- one of the most user-friendly download sites I've
seen. All in all, TextShield is a great product!"
